The 83rd season of Los Alamos Choral Society begins Tuesday, September 15th, at the United Church of Los Alamos, under the direction of Derek Gilmour. Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. Auditions are not required, but some singing experience is preferred.

Please arrive from 6:30 – 6:45 the first evening to register. We ask for a $50 donation to help cover expenses. Scholarships are available.

Meet Derek Gilmour,
Choral Conductor
Derek has been with Los Alamos Choral Society since June 2024, when he moved to Los Alamos with his wife and two children.
With a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting, Derek brings a wealth of experience leading award-winning choirs in Texas and New Mexico. His deep love of music, extensive knowledge of choral vocal technique and enthusiasm make rehearsals both challenging and fun.
He looks forward to helping the choir grow as they bring choral artistry and beauty to the community.
